Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya

Ryoji Ramen & Izakaya

Ryoji  situated in Little Italy/ Portugal. Quite an odd place to find a Japanese restaurant there. Ryoji is relatively big; there’s an area to lounge, a sushi bar and plenty of seats accompanied by mirrored ceilings. It’s a lot bigger than their competitors (Sansostei,Santouka, Kinton…). I went on a Friday lunch and it was rather empty. It’s probably due … Continue reading »

Sabai Sabai

Sabai Sabai

Another Thai restaurant from the chef of Khao San Road, Sabai Sabai (@sabaisabaito). Sabai Saba is located at the south-east corner of Dundas and Church, quite convenient location and close proximity to Eaton’s Centre and Santouka. Great thing about Sabai is that they take reservations! I made a reservation for a Thursday afternoon and it was … Continue reading »

Santouka again

I ordered the Spicy ramen combo for this visit. Unfortunately the noodles were not as spicy as I wanted…more like not … Continue reading »

Sansotei

Sansotei

Ramen hype! Sansotei opened just around September 2012, similar to other ramen restaurants that have just opened in summer such as Kinton Ramen and Momofuku’s Noodle Bar. My friends and I arrived on a Saturday noon and the line up wasn’t that bad as many other critics have mentioned. It was barely a wait; probably 5 mins. … Continue reading »
