Fabbrica is one of Mark McEwan’s restaurants, along with ByMark, North 44, Canoe…etc. It’s situated at Shops @ Don Mills servicing italian food.

Prosciutto e arugula with mozzarella, arugula and proscuitto
We had this pizza as an appetizer to be shared around the table. I’ve personally tried the pizza at McEwan’s grocery store and it tasted the same! I didn’t find anything special about this but the crust was indeed fluffy and soft.

Pappardelle – braised rabbit, roasted root vegetables and crispy sage.
I don’t recall eating rabbit in my life so this is a first. They actually just taste like chicken? The pasta was very fresh and well-made. I just wish that it was a tad more. =P

Linguine – clams, shrimp, white wine, garlic and chili.
This linguine was definitely a SEAFOOD pasta with many clams,

Lamb ravioli
Sadly there was only around 7 of them and it had a very strong “lamb” smell.

Porkchetta?. I forgot the name of this but it’s basically a braised pork – really good and tender! Along with potatoes on the side.

Overall, I quite like Fabbrica. Price was reasonable. My entire meal was $30 with the pasta and the shared pizza, no drinks. I will return if I’m craving for some italian good pasta!
