Kenzo Ramen

Kenzo Ramen Japanese Noodles
6180 Yonge St
Toronto, ON

Have always heard about this place from my friends but never had a chance to go. And whenever we do go, it would be super packed that we would turn away. I finally got the boyfriend to go with me and the first thing he said was…”are you sure it’s this place? Are you sure you want to eat here?” lol. I gave him a definite yes answer. To be honest, the location is quite sketched-looking.

The King of the Kings Ramen
hot netsu ramen with five toppings

Sho-Yu Ramen
Super noodles with tasty Japanese soy sauce

Takoyaki on the side

We each ordered a bowl of ramen. I got the mild King of the Kings Ramen, It was good, not too too spicy that I can actually taste everything in the bowl. I especially liked the cha-siu, it’s so different from the Chinese style. The soup base was not too salty and the noodles were chewy. I think I’ve had better ones but this place is quite authentic and will come back again! It is better than Aji-sen Ramen for sure. Each ramen costs around $9-10. The takoyakis were decent, but a tad pricey.
If you are ever craving for ramen, you should definitely try out this place!

  1. 1. Love the food blog
    2. Have you been to the DT one @ 138 Dundas Street West, Toronto, ON ?? see which one you like better! I like the DT location more! You might need to wait since they are always pack at times. If you are going for lunch, they won’t be serving Takoyaki.
