MoRoCo

My friend was around the area and we decided to take a little afternoon break at MoRoCo @ Yorkville. This fancy little place that happened to be at one of the most expensive areas in Toronto, thus, charging overwhelming prices on desserts that can literally be the price of a dinner meal.
The interior was very classy and princessy with the purple and black decors; for sure a place for girls to feel enchanted and royal.

MoRoCo is known for their chocolate but I was never a chocolate fan so I opted out for a

Lemon Lava Cake instead. An ambrosial white lemon cake with a citrus lemon lava centre, garnished with our house-made Frozen Yogurt and seasonal fruits . I liked it overall, it was a bit sour but very refreshing from the weather.

My friend got the Pina Colada Brulee. Coconut milk, pineapple creme brulee with caramelized pineapples and toasted coconut flakes. It was quite simple; I could have made something like that too. It was just the presentation that looked better.

Elegant décor but overpriced desserts. I think once is enough. Maybe I’ll try the macaroons next time.
