Bought a “$25 for $50 Worth of Upscale Fare and Drinks at Senses Restaurant + Bar” from Groupon a while ago. I know Sen5es is known for their desserts but still wanted to give their dinner a shot. They are surprisingly really good!

Started off with awesome complimentary bread + dip.

Crabmeat Tartar ($14) with wasabi mayonnaise, lotus root chip, coriander seedlings.
I’m a tartar fan so I love this too! Every bite was super delicious!

Crispy Duck Breast ($29) with pan fried king oyster & shiitake mushrooms, sautéed pea leaves, port & madeira demi glace.
I also like the duck breast. It was juicy and cooked just right.

Charred Australian Lamb chops ($34) with charred vegetable & mozzarella tower, chive flowers, maple cured bacon.
This was cooked just perfect. I liked the sauce complimented with the lamb chop. I also thought the veggies were thoughtful with the colour.

Truffle fries ($7) with truffle mayonnaise, grated parmesan on the side. The fries had a strong truffle smell.

The meal including the cheesecake (forgot to take a picture of it) was all very well-rounded. Given the groupon deal, it was quite an expensive meal but it was worth a try! Great presentation of food and friendly service. 🙂
