Was shopping just around Toronto’s Eaton Centre and noticed McDonald (@McD_Canada) recently opened a new flagship store.
It’s located on 356 Yonge St.; is their biggest franchise in Ontario with 9,000 square feet and two floors.
According to Toronto Life, the franchise owner wanted the store “to be a very modern, urban, hip place where you can chill…not that whole fast food, plastic chairs concept.”
The design is indeed very modern, colourful and a few built-in fireplaces that made it extra cozy and relaxing!
There’s an area to order the typical McDonald’s menu and then there’s the McCafe coffee shop. Many comfy lounge areas and comfortable tables with lots of plugs for laptops or chargers. Oh, and there’s also a second floor.
Till December 8th (Sorry for the delay in publishing this post), this particular location was offering particular combos for $3.56 to match their street number!
Really creative layout of the special menu as well…
I wasn’t too hungry so I just ordered myself a Mango Pinapple slush to enjoy.
If I’m a student at University of Toronto Downtown or Ryerson, I’ll definitely come here to just enjoy a cup of coffee and work away while looking at the busy street of Yonge St.
This store reminded me of a lot of coffee shops in Korea or even bubble tea shops uptown Markham.
If you’re around the area either to grab a bite, meet up with friends or just to relax, definitely try out this flagship location! Cheers!
